How does the BioEx platform work?
BioEx Energy Resources OnlineTrading Platform brings together participants of energy resource market – energy resource sellers and buyers. After registration, regular trade sessions are organized – open auctions where, like in the world’s best commodities exchanges, sellers and buyers set the price, volume of the transaction, the supply time and register collateral arrangements.

How is trading organized?
Trading is the main functionality of the BioEx Platform. During the trading process, the Platform’s participants – Buyers - may define their order for purchasing energy resources, and the Platform’s participants – Sellers - may submit their offers, defining their orders for selling energy resources. On the Platform, the market participants may use a special calculator and base their transactions on these calculations.
Biomass Trading is divided into trading periods that last for one week, starting and ending at 16:00 on Monday. Natural gas trading sessions are held daily. Thermal energy trading is organized in weekly and daily sessions. The trading process is described in detail in the Trade Platform Code.
How to register?
In order to register on the Platform, the company’s representative, in line with the instruction, should open a profile on platform.bioex.lv. When the registration is completed, BioEx operator will check your data and send you the Agreement for participation in the Energy Trading Platform for signing. After the contract is signed by both parties, you will be sent a password that will allow you to log in to the Trading Platform in the future.
The Platform, of course, has a mobile version which helps to conveniently perform transactions from any location – like you would do it on an internet bank or any other financial service tool.
